Eco council

Yew Tree children from Years two to six elect councilors to the school’s various committees which play a major role in shaping the school’s future. The eco council meet every half term and are responsible for representing their peer’s ideas and voices in helping our school stay environmentally friendly.

Green Flag

We have recently earned an international accreditation this academic year, recognising our work in making our school more environmentally friendly and raising eco-awareness in fellow pupils.

Eco-Schools is an international education programme that prompts young people to explore sustainability and climate change and take action.

 

Forest School

Children take part in weekly forest school sessions in our school forest, these involve building skills around team work and communication.
