Year 5 Reading Challenge

Can you read all 10 books within the academic Year?

You can borrow them from school or a library. You can read them to yourself or even share them with family members.

We would like you to enjoy reading for pleasure 

Our learning throughout the Year 

Time Tables facts are important for aritmetic. We would like all Year 5 pupils to practice playing TTRS on a regular basis as this will support the quick recall of multiplication facts.

Homework will be sent home on Thursdays and must be returned to school by the following Tuesday

We ask all Year 5 children to read for 5 minutes each day. We ask that an adult or some one who has heard them read - logs their reading in thier reading journals. These are checked on a daily basis.
