Spanish Workshop at Rayner Stephens
Year 6 attended a workshop at Rayner Stephens themed around a train station, where they learned key Spanish vocabulary and phrases related to train travel. The children took a trip to la estaciĂłn de tren and had the opportunity to apply their learning in a practical, immersive session. We extend our sincere thanks to Rayner Stephens for their excellent teaching and warm hospitality.

Year 6 Maths
Mathematics is a tool for everyday life. It is a whole network of concepts and relationships which provide a way of viewing and making sense of the world. It is used to analyse and communicate information and ideas and to tackle a range of practical tasks and real-life problems. In Key Stage 1 and 2 we base our teaching on the National Curriculum programmes of study. The National Curriculum informs our planning and ensures progression. In school to ensure this coverage we follow the White Rose Maths Scheme. Please see the Long Term Plan for Year 6 below.

Remember to use Times Table Rockstars regularly at home to improve your times table recall speed. There is an award every Friday in assembly for the children who make the most progress with their accuracy. If you are unsure of your child's username and password, please contact your child's class teacher via Dojo.
